Founded in 2012 by entrepreneur and innovator Ralph R. Debbas, and supported by a supremely qualified team of design, development and production experts, W Motors offers the full spectrum of automotive services.

2012

W Motors is officially launched in July 2012 at a private event held in Beirut, Lebanon, following which the headquarters are established in Dubai, UAE in early 2013.

W Motors first hypercar, the Lykan HyperSport is unveiled with a world premiere at the Qatar Motor Show.

2015

Universal Studios selects the Lykan HyperSport as the hero hypercar to be featured in the latest installment of its supercharged movie franchise, The Fast and The Furious, with actor Vin Diesel and the late Paul Walker stepping behind the wheel in box office blockbuster Furious 7.

2016

ICONIQ Motors, the China based sister company to W Motors is born, with Ralph R. Debbas as Co-Founder, with the mandate to develop electric Smart Passenger Vehicles (SPVs) to address the mass electric vehicle needs of the Chinese market.

2017

W Motors launches its Flagship Gallery in Dubai in the heart of the upscale City Walk district and unveils its second hypercar model, the Fenyr SuperSport.

2019

W Motors and China partner ICONIQ Motors unveil their inaugural autonomous car, the MUSE, a collaborative project with a global community of automotive experts and visionaries.

2021

W Motors New Headquarter will become the first of its kind luxury hypercar centre for production in the Middle East when it opens its doors in 2022. The state-of-the-art facility will exclusively handle turnkey project production of all W Motors’ hypercars as well as Special Projects Division vehicles.
