Ralph Debbas founded W Motors in 2012 establishing himself as a true pioneer in the Middle East. Under his leadership, W Motors has evolved from one of the most exclusive luxury hypercar manufacturers in the world to the only fully integrated mobility solutions provider based in the region.  

The “W” in W Motors stands for Wolf Motors, inspired by Ralph’s childhood nickname, “the wolf”, symbolizing strength, courage, wisdom and leadership, qualities that have guided him through the numerous challenges of founding a new automotive brand.

The Lykan HyperSport, the first hypercar launched by W Motors, is a hallmark of the brand’s DNA, representing nearly seven years of hard work and passion. Developed with several high-profile international companies, it made its iconic debut in the Fast & Furious franchise and remains a groundbreaking project for both W Motors and the region. The Lykan HyperSport marked the brand’s birth while the Fenyr SuperSport represents W Motors’ commitment to continuous innovation.

Ralph’s passion for automotive design, architecture, and construction began early in life with his fascination with Meccano kits. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, Ralph was inspired by innovation and creativity from a very young age. International travel further fueled his love for cars, exposing him to various European brands and automotive events.

Ralph’s academic journey took him from design studies at the Lebanese American University in Beirut, Lebanon to an automotive design degree at the prestigious Coventry University School of Art and Design, providing Ralph with a solid foundation in automotive design.

Today, Ralph leads W Motors Automotive Group Holding Limited based in Dubai UAE.
The company is a fully integrated entity involved in automotive design, research & development, engineering, manufacturing, consultancy and contract manufacturing for special projects. W Motors operates from a state-of-the-art automotive facility in Dubai Silicon Oasis, fully envisioned and meticulously designed by Ralph, to accommodate and support the company’s growth. Built from the ground up, this one-of-a-kind facility accommodates the production of limited series vehicles of up to 7,000 units per year and serves as the company’s main headquarters, featuring a flagship showroom and an interactive incubator zone for partnerships and collaborations.

Among Ralph’s key achievements is the development of an unparalleled network of global and regional partners in the automotive industry, all focused on creating the most luxurious, high-performance, and technologically advanced vehicles with W Motors. Collaborating with key industry players, Ralph established W Motors’ automotive consultancy division, offering turnkey mobility and technology solutions to private clients, OEMs and government entities. This division oversees the entire process, from design to development and manufacturing.

For Ralph Debbas, the goal has never been to create the most expensive car but to establish a new industry in Dubai and the Middle East. Over the past 13 years since W Motors’ founding, the company has leveraged expertise from Europe, China, the U.S. and the Middle East to create exceptional automotive capabilities, train talented professionals, and foster unique economic opportunities for the region.
